  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 16.9-ounce bag mini M&Ms (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in mini chocolate chips and 1 cup of mini M&Ms; set aside remaining candies.
  6. Shape the dough into teaspoon-sized balls and press into reserved mini M&Ms before placing on prepared sheets.
  7. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until lightly golden on the bottoms; cool on wire racks.
