  • 1 cup cereal milk (strained)

  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)

  • Pinch of salt (omit if using salted butter)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cereal milk by soaking the Fruity Pebbles in whole milk for 30 minutes. Strain to collect the flavored cereal milk.
  2. In a saucepan, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt (if using) with the strained cereal milk. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool completely for about 15-20 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  5. Gradually add the cooled flour mixture to the butter mixture, beating until smooth.
  6. Fold in the remaining Fruity Pebbles cereal gently.
