Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box French vanilla cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 box Jello instant vanilla pudding (3.4 oz)
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 carton Cool Whip
  • Food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Divide the batter into three bowls and add food coloring to each bowl until desired shades are achieved.
  4. Transfer each colored batter into separate Ziploc bags; cut off one end of each bag and alternate squeezing colors into the prepared pan for a marble effect.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Once cooled, poke holes in the cake every 1.5 inches using the back of a wooden spoon.
  7. In another bowl, whisk together milk and pudding mix for about five minutes until it thickens.
  8. Pour the pudding mixture over the cake, ensuring it seeps into all holes.
  9. Spread Cool Whip on top and decorate as desired.
