  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Easter M&Ms or candy-coated chocolate eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt before gradually mixing it into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and half of the Easter candies.
  6. Scoop dollops of dough onto prepared baking sheets and press remaining candies on top.
  7. Bake for about 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
