Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag (26 oz) frozen meatballs (about 3035 meatballs)
  • 2 cups reduced-sodium beef broth
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar (as a substitute for Worcestershire sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the slow cooker by placing the frozen meatballs inside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the beef broth, brown gravy mix, onion soup mix, ketchup, and vinegar until smooth.
  3. Pour the gravy mixture over the meatballs in the slow cooker and stir gently to coat.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until the meatballs are heated through and tender.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, combine cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry. Add this to the slow cooker and stir well to thicken the gravy.
  6. Once thickened, serve over your choice of mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
