  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 cup mushrooms (sliced and sautéed)
  • 1 small onion (finely diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or use a loaf pan.
  2. Cook turkey bacon until crispy; set aside. In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms until browned.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix in half of the shredded Swiss cheese.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking sheet; top with remaining cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and chopped turkey bacon.
  6. Bake for 45–55 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
