  • 1/4 Cup light brown sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 Pinch salt
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 2 Ounces hot espresso
  • 1 Ounce cinnamon dolce syrup (recipe above)
  • 1 Cup whole milk (frothed and hot)
  • 2 Tablespoons whipped cream (optional)
  • 1 Pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cinnamon dolce syrup by combining granulated sugar, light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract, and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until dissolved and simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  2. Brew 2 ounces of hot espresso using your espresso machine or stovetop maker.
  3. Froth 1 cup of whole milk until hot but not boiling and creamy.
  4. In a serving mug, combine the brewed espresso with 1 ounce of cinnamon dolce syrup. Stir gently.
  5. Pour the frothed milk over the espresso mixture.
  6. Optionally top with whipped cream, sprinkle with ground cinnamon, and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
