  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup raspberry preserves
  • Additional raspberry preserves for topping
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Fresh raspberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a stand mixer bowl, mix bread flour, sugar, and salt. Add egg yolks, vanilla extract, softened butter, and yeast mixture; mix until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on medium speed for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl; cover and let rise in a warm area for 1-2 hours until doubled.
