  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup pistachio paste
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 can croissant dough (8 oz)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Melted dark chocolate (for drizzling)
  • Chopped roasted pistachios

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate chips in 20-second intervals until smooth; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together pistachio paste, powdered sugar, and heavy cream until smooth; add food coloring if desired.
  4. Unroll croissant dough and cut into triangles. Place half a tablespoon of pistachio crème on one side and melted chocolate on the other, leaving space in between.
  5. Fold the dough over to seal; crimp edges with a fork if necessary.
  6. Brush tops with beaten egg. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Once cooled slightly, drizzle with melted dark chocolate and sprinkle with chopped pistachios before serving.
