  • 1 cup room temperature butter (salted or unsalted)
  • Pinch of salt (if using unsalted butter)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 4 cups icing sugar
  • 45 tbsp cream
  • ½ cup crushed Oreos (about 6 or 7)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl of a stand mixer, beat the room temperature butter on high speed until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
  2. In a food processor, crush the Oreos until they reach a fine texture and set aside.
  3. With the mixer on low speed and using the paddle attachment, add vanilla extract, salt (if needed), and one cup of icing sugar; mix well.
  4. Gradually add in tablespoons of cream while continuing to mix in more icing sugar until all ingredients are combined and desired thickness is achieved.
  5. Fold in the crushed Oreos gently until evenly distributed.
