  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ pound ground turkey
  • ½ cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ small onion (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 6 slices turkey slices
  • 6 slices provolone cheese or 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, onion, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Line a sheet pan with foil or parchment paper.
  4. Spread the meat mixture into a rectangle about 12 by 7 inches.
  5. Layer the spinach, turkey slices, and cheese evenly over the meat mixture.
  6. Carefully roll the meat from one end to form a log shape and pinch the ends closed.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing into pieces.
