  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and prepare your donut pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In a larger bowl, combine eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill a piping bag with batter and pipe into the prepared donut pan.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until they spring back when touched.
  7. Let cool slightly on a wire rack before glazing.
  8. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
