  • 1 oz (30 ml) Lemon Verbena Syrup
  • ½ oz (15 ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 3 oz (90 ml) Sparkling apple cider
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Soda Water
  • 3 to 4 Fresh Lemon Verbena Leaves
  • Ice Cubes
  • Lemon Slice (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Create the Lemon Verbena Syrup by simmering equal parts water and sugar with lemon verbena leaves in a saucepan for about 5 minutes. Strain and cool.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add the syrup, fresh lemon juice, and torn lemon verbena leaves.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds to chill.
  4. Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice cubes.
  5. Slowly pour in sparkling apple cider and top with soda water.
  6. Stir gently and garnish with a lemon slice and sprig of lemon verbena.
