  • ⅓ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for glaze)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest until well mixed.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture while alternating with the milk until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for about 55–60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a platter.
  8. For the glaze, mix melted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth; drizzle over the warm loaf.
