  • 12 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion (diced)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Tomato Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 12 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (shaved, shredded, or fresh grated)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté diced onion until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, water, Italian seasoning, sea salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add uncooked bowtie pasta and reduce heat to simmer. Cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in ricotta cheese until well combined. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese before serving.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
