  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ⅓ cup Dutch processed cocoa powder
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  1. Cream the butter with both sugars using a stand or hand mixer for about 2 minutes until fluffy.
  2. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, kosher salt, and cocoa powder; mix on low speed.
  4. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and chill the dough in the fridge for 45-60 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough onto the sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  7. Bake for 10-11 minutes; optionally press extra white chocolate chips on top before serving.
