  • ¾ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup finely ground almond flour
  • ⅓ cup sliced almonds
  • For the Honey Simple Syrup: ⅓ cup honey and ⅓ cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease an 8-inch cake pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar in a mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Add vanilla and almond extracts, then gradually mix in the eggs.
