  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking sheet or loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf on a baking sheet or press into a loaf pan.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard for the glaze. Spread half over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes; brush with remaining glaze and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
