  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips (or chocolate chips)

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease mini loaf pans or muffin cups.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, salt, and baking soda.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in peanut butter chips (or chocolate chips) using a rubber spatula.
  6. Pour the batter evenly into prepared pans.
  7. Bake mini loaves for about 30-35 minutes or a large loaf for about 50 minutes. Muffins will take around 25 minutes.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
