  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp each of salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme
  • 1 tsp each of paprika, onion powder, garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and whisk in flour until well combined; cook until slightly browned.
  3. Gradually add chicken broth while stirring; include remaining seasonings and allow to bubble.
  4. Add seasoned chicken to the skillet ensuring it's covered with gravy; cover and reduce heat to medium-low.
  5. Cook for 12-15 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Shred or chop chicken as desired and serve over your choice of side.
