Ingredients

  • 6 sheets frozen filo pastry (thawed)
  • 50 g melted butter
  • 250 g brie cheese (sliced)
  • 275 g cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup almond flakes
  • 1 tbsp black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 C / 350 F and line two baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Cut each thawed filo sheet into three lengthwise strips, then cut each strip in half widthwise to create 36 squares.
  3. Place a square of pastry on a flat surface and brush it with melted butter.
  4. At one end of each square, add a slice of brie, followed by a teaspoon of cranberry sauce and almond flakes.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly from one end while pinching both ends together to form crackers.
  6. Place the assembled crackers on the prepared baking trays, brush with remaining butter, and sprinkle black sesame seeds on top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
