  • 2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can of Mountain Dew™ (or substitute with a different soda)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Peel and core the apples, then cut each into 8 wedges.
  3. Roll each apple wedge in the crescent roll dough, starting from the smallest end and pinching to seal.
  4. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and stir in sugar and cinnamon until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture over the dumplings and top with soda.
  6. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
