  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup ketchup (plus additional for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • For the glaze: ⅓ cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, and 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf in the prepared pan.
  4. For the glaze, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard. Spread half over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes; add remaining glaze on top and bake for an additional 15 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
