  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear chicken until golden brown (5–6 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, lower heat and add butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (1–2 minutes).
  4. Add chicken broth and lemon juice to deglaze; stir in lemon zest and simmer (3–4 minutes).
  5. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  6. For rice: In a medium saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic; add rice and toast for 1 minute. Pour in broth, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer covered (15 minutes).
  7. Stir in parmesan cheese into the cooked rice before serving.
