  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 48 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Yellow and orange food coloring
  • Optional: ¼ cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker or chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter; press into two springform pans. Bake for about 8 minutes, then let cool.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and optional sour cream.
  4. Divide batter into three bowls: leave one plain, tint one yellow, and one orange.
  5. Layer the batter in each springform pan: start with yellow, then add orange, followed by the plain layer.
  6. Bake for 55–65 minutes until just set but slightly jiggly in the center. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
