Ingredients
Scale
1 ½ lbs sirloin steak or ribeye, cut into bite-sized cubes
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
8 oz medium pasta shells
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
¼ cup reserved pasta water (optional)
Instructions
Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve ¼ cup pasta water before draining.
Pat steak cubes dry, season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Sear seasoned steak bites in a hot cast iron skillet with olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side. Add butter and minced garlic during the last minute; remove from skillet.
In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in more butter, then add heavy cream and simmer gently.
Stir in cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, paprika, black pepper, and adjust seasoning as needed until smooth.
Toss cooked pasta shells in the sauce; add reserved pasta water if necessary for consistency.
Serve topped with seared steak bites and garnish with parsley.
