  • 1 1/2 cups finely crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 1 pint heavy cream (or pre-made whipped topping)
  • 1 pound room temperature cream cheese
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup finely crushed peppermint candy

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter until well mixed. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form a crust.
  2. In another bowl, beat room temperature cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk with an electric mixer until smooth. Gently fold in heavy cream and half of the crushed peppermint candy.
  3. Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan and smooth the top with a rubber spatula. Sprinkle remaining peppermint candy on top.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight to set.
  5. Once chilled, remove the sides of the springform pan, slice into wedges, and serve cold.
