Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ kg potatoes
  • 400 g ground beef
  • 45 g cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 150 g bread crumbs
  • Salt
  • White pepper
  • Garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the potatoes by peeling and chopping them into chunks. Boil in salted water for 15-20 minutes until tender. Drain and mash until smooth, then mix in cheddar cheese, salt, white pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a frying pan over medium heat, breaking it apart while adding salt, white pepper, and garlic powder until browned. Allow cooling slightly.
  3. To assemble, flatten a portion of the potato mixture in your palm, add mozzarella cheese and beef filling in the center, then mold into a ball shape.
  4. Coat each croquette in flour, dip in beaten egg, and roll in bread crumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry croquettes until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes per batch). Drain on paper towels before serving hot.
