  • 2 lbs. ground turkey
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs, plain
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 2/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/3 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sriracha sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, sesame oil, bread crumbs, ground ginger, eggs, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1 ½-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet. Bake for 20-23 minutes until cooked through.
  4. While baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, sesame oil, ground ginger, low sodium soy sauce, and sriracha. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Coat the baked meatballs in the sauce before serving over rice or noodles.
